Hi! My Name is Christy...

It has been awhile since I introduced myself and there are a LOT of new faces out there!  My name is Christy.  Once upon a time I got a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Special Education (spoiler alert) which has come in pretty handy.  I married a pretty amazing guy (who thankfully likes to cook and can do math), and we have three kidlets. These days I mostly referee kidlet fights and work on writing and social media at home.  HAHAHAHAHAHA!  Moms, you know what I am saying. Those kidlets have a nose for when I am working.

Admittedly I have a confessed addiction to baby gear. How addicted? Lets just say the hubs says NO MORE STROLLERS!  Its one of the reasons why I started blogging.  I can legit say, NO honey.  I'm working!  That stroller is for a review!!

I like to describe myself as glam crunchy.  Ok, ok!  Rachel from Club MomMe graced me with that title, but I think it fits.  Whole Foods is basically my Disneyland, and it became a recent (ridiculous) quest to find an organic cookie that actually tastes like an oreo.  If you know me, you had better just stop laughing right now.  I'm always trying to find products that work as well as my conventional glam makers, but don't have as many yucky ingredients.  One of my recent faves?  Tarte.

The kiddos are a trip and are my fave (until bedtime, when wine becomes my fave).  My little man (at three years old) was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, which has been challenging.  We welcomed a service dog puppy in training into our home last summer too!  The Honeybadger, Clara, is my oldest critter and is five.  She started Kindergarten last year, and it has been a bit difficult to get used to missing her all day!  Cry me a river, but I was not expecting it to be that hard!  My littlest is Belle.  She is fun, and as sassy as the day is long.  She is the sweetest little bug that is growing up too fast.  Seriously, not talking about her growing.  Not happening.

We live in the burbs between DC and Baltimore and we LOVE to travel.  I pink sparkle heart love Disneyland.  I have been all over the world with the hubs but I don't feel done yet.  Thanks to the US Navy, we have seen some pretty cool places and lived in...well, interesting places.  The people we have met along the way have made our journey tremendous.
